About the Event
Weeklong Culminating Celebration of DWB's 10th Anniversary Year
Ticket Price: Sliding scale ($0-$20)
Join us in highlighting the work and visions of artists who are shepherding Black dance & performance hubs across the US, in a dialogue hosted by artist-organizer Shani Jamila. Guest panelists include: Vershawn Sanders-Ward / Red Clay Dance, Thomas DeFrantz / Collegium for African Diaspora Dance, Ebony Noelle Golden / Spirit House, and Kendra Kimbrough Barnes / The Black Choreographers Festival. Learn about how they continue to uplift Black dance voices across decades.
Under the Donation option, we suggest you choose $0, $10, or $20, but you are welcome to give more if you are able to underwrite others' attendance and the true cost of creating such events.
About our sliding scale ticket cost: We value both accessibility and class analysis, and leveraging privilege to support others in our community. We ask that you pay on the scale according to your ability, in order to support access, and engage in interdependence in action. The practice of choosing a rate that is both affordable and heartfelt is a mindfulness and justice-seeking practice. We will not question your self-determined rate.

If you can't join us for this event, you may still purchase a ticket to support the cost of producing this event and the labor that brought this into motion.
